a half of a foot of snow as the eagles took on the lions and they watched the ravens take on the vikings in zero visibility. they are racing to get the lights back on and thousands are living without power across the country and with the theft of new ice accumulations more outages could be on the way. all that and the official start of winter is still two weeks away. and winter of course still has the grip over much of the country. at least check airports reporting delays of deicing the planes and keep that in mind here and the northeast and the moisture will continue through the day. winds are pulling from the south and west and keeping the air a tad bit milder and instead of all the wintry precipitation we dealt with yesterday there is more in the way of rain today and new york city with the quick burst of snow it will get washed out before another round moves in and we have a number of advisories posted and travel plans along i-95 you will encounter slick spots and give yourself plenty of time and of course make sure that you provide a little bit of extra space between you and the car

-26. this one in terms of snow, philly had the most. lions/eagles and grounds crew couldn't keep up with it. the game, it was brutal until the fourth. lesean mccoy will hurdle one guy and into the end zone. eagles win it, 34-20 and won five straight, 78-5 now. pittsburgh, steelers/dolphins, miami actually didn't mind the weather. tight end shaw shaking off two defenders. stays on his feet. incredible with those conditions. no time on the clock on this one. steelers down. time for one more play. >> desperation time for pittsburgh. throw to the outside. sanders. backward pass. roethlisberger now running. shovels out for brown. brown's got room. throw down the surveillance. miami trying to bring them down. antonio brown, incredible! >> i mean i watched that live. but look at the left foot, like an inch out of bounds. he probably had the guy beat and so there was no touchdown and the dolphins win, 34-28. it was awesome. the roethlisberger lateral was a little debatable but still an incredible play. how about in washington, mike shanahan's tenure as head coach may be in doubt after this. embarra

. -- wyatt earp. he arrived in eagle city in january 1884. and, in fact, he came over from compton falls, montana, over the mouse to get the. he heard about a gold rush, people are supposed to build a find money, gold laying on the ground. everybody was coming here from all over the country. because the railroad made a display in the papers, all over the country about how wonderful a gold rush was the they were trying to build up their clientele on their trains and that's the reason they did that. when he got there it was the worst winter they had had since god knows when, but it was 30-foot snow drifts and just horrible weather. he had to walk from thompson falls with his wife, and they came into eagle city in january 1884. he gained fame as this gunfight at the o.k. corral, and in tombstone, arizona. really pretty famous. they made a lot of moves about it, but when he got to the camp, he was with the notoriety that people name. so they voted him to be the sheriff sort of off-the-cuff thing. 1882 is when prichard found goal in the coeur d'alene up in the mountains. wasn't much better th
